AWS Private 5G adopts the well-known AWS ‘pay-as-you-go’ pricing model. An under control, predictable monthly fee is charged based on two variables: the number of radio units you have requested and the maximum configured throughput for the network. There is no information available publicly yet, on whether there is a minimum lock-in period, or the billing treatment if users exceed that configured number (tier change, overage, etc…). While it might be a wait-and-watch game for now, the simplified pricing is unlike any model offered by existing telco providers across the world.
